DRAFT SCRIPT TREATMENT REPORT 10

Wayne then reflects on his promise to Dennis way back in 1978 that  he would find out what happened to Brother Basil one day. He then part takes in a mass rally, marching from Brixton to the House of commons, to expose the truth.  At this point the story makes another sensational twist. This rally inevitably brings him to the attention of the authorities.

On one such day wayne, is routinely stopped by the Police who then search his briefcase. The bag has much documentation conducive to the Basil Brown death in custody.

A controversial chain of events, then takes place by the system, to silence his campaign. Wayne is subjected to an illegal arrest and then he is cruelly placed under the mental health system, which is clearly designed to discredit his quest for justice. Wayne goes on to appeal against this illegal incarceration to the Mental Health Tribunal, who inevitably see the injustice and subsequently sets him free immediately. It now transpires that these events of systematic brutalisation turns out to be part and parcel of the same conspiracy that ultimately took Brother Basil’s life, the system is hell-bent on keeping the truth buried forever. Wayne on his  release drives over six hundred miles to the All SAINTS HOSPITAL in Birmingham to consult with one of the UK’s leading  professors of clinical psychology who concludes”Mr Brown, there is nothing wrong with you”.

Armed with this knowledge Wayne then proceeds to intensify his campaign to not only expose Brother Basils untimely death, but to also bring to the world’s attention about the atrocities he himself then goes on to endure. There has been a national news blockade implemented since 1977, when Basil is mysteriously found dead in his prison cell in Albany Prison on the isle of Wight. This news blockade is still in place thirty-three years later in the supression of the campaign that at one point saw Wayne stand on the reception counter of NEW SCOTLAND YARD demanding to be arrested in order to open up a Pandora’s box of atrocities.
